Last night Jonathan attended the premiere of the new Warner Bros. movie Unaccompanied Minors at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Pictures are now available in the 2006 gallery here.

Bogart Backstage

On the afternoon of Sunday 5, Jonathan was hanging out in Hollywood for Bogart Backstage. The event was to honor Hilary Duff with the 2006 Children's Choice Award, which is awarded annually to a celebrity that has made a significant difference to the lives of children. Bogart Backstage, which was held at the Hollywood Palladium, started at 1:00pm and finished at 4:00pm with live music from Ashley Parker Angel and Bowling For Soup. Children's Choice Awards

Tomorrow, Sunday November 5, Jonathan will be taking part in Bogart Backstage. Bogart Backstage is part of the 2006 Children's Choice Awards, and is taking place at the Hollywood Palladium. The event will benefit the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program, the West Coast division of the T. J. Martell Foundation, which supports children's cancer, leukaemia and AIDS research at five dedicated laboratories at Children's Hospital LA.

Tyra Banks Reruns 10.13.2006   It may be Friday 13 today, but it's all good news. If you missed Jonathan being interviewed on The Tyra Banks Show earlier this month, the episode is showing again tonight at 11:00pm on Oxygen. There are also repeats on Monday October 16 at 11:00pm on Oxygen, and on Saturday October 28 at 12:00am on Oxygen. So there is absolutely no excuse for missing that! Jonathan admits on the show that he's not very good at asking girls out, so Tyra gets him to role play, and gives him tips on flirting. She also tells him that he has turned into a complete hunk. Knights Of Impossingworth Park Cancelled

Rumors have been circling for a few weeks now, but we decided to wait until we had answers directly from Jonathan before announcing anything about this on the site. Unfortunately, due to lack of funding Knights Of Impossingworth Park has been cancelled. Filming was initially due to begin in early 2005 but was postponed again and again before being cancelled. Although Jonathan is disappointed that the movie is no longer going ahead, he is confident in auditions he has recently been having, and is looking forward to something new coming up.

Jonathan has also decided not to continue his work as co-producer on the up-coming film-length documentary After School, about the rise in the number of young female teachers having affairs with their teenage students. The documentary was to include a short film in which Jonathan would play the role of a student being seduced by his teacher, however this was cut from the documentary a few months ago, making it 100% doc. We have been in touch with the documentary's producer, Karen Ammond at KBC Media, who says that Jonathan was asked to stay on as co-producer, but passed on the opportunity to focus on other aspects of his career. Jonathan's mother Rhonda, who was working as associate producer on After School didn't stay on either, as she is helping Jonathan with his new plans. After School is continuing without the Lipnicki's, and is progressing well with a new award winning cinematographer. The crew wish Jonathan the best of luck saying, "He is adorable, and it would be great if he got a new hit film this year."

The LA Riot Spectacular Release

Tomorrow, Friday August 11 2006, is the mini-theatrical release of The LA Riot Spectacular. The 80 minute feature will be screened at 11:55pm at the Laemmle Theatre, Sunset 5 in West Hollywood. The movie will continue to run on a late-night weekend screening program, before being released nationally on DVD on August 15. Visionbox Media, the movie's distributors, have sent along a couple of stills from the movie and also allowed us to show the trailer, as well as an exclusive clip featuring Jonathan. The LA Riot Spectacular Premiere 08.02.2006   The 2004 independent movie, The LA Riot Spectacular, in which Jonathan features as a young fascist, will finally open on August 11 at the Laemmle Theatre, Sunset 5 in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. Monster House Los Angeles Premiere

Last night, July 17, Jonathan was at Mann's Village Theatre in Westwood, California, with his mom and sister, for the US premiere of Sony Pictures' Monster House. Jonny, who has shaved his head again, was seen hanging out and goofing around with teen actor Daryl Sabara, and posing for the cameras with his family. Warfrog Gig 07.10.2006 Jonny took to the stage last night with his new band Warfrog for their first live gig at BB King's Blues Club in Century City, Hollywood. The band, who were performing alongside other local bands including The Sheds, were on stage for 15-minutes performing a variety of songs, including Now Love Me. To listen to the live version of Now Love Me visit the bands official MySpace, where you can also listen to another of their songs, C'Mon Baby. The four guys that make up the band are as follows: Killian Koenig and Darren Dahl on guitar and vocals, Sean Slavin, from Jonathan's previous band Thanx Mr. on bass guitar, and of course, Jonathan Lipnicki on drums. Jonny's New Band Announce First Live Gig

For the last few months Jonathan has been rehearsing as drummer with a new band called Warfrog. The band will be performing their first live gig, along with another band called The Sheds early next month in Century City, LA, and Jonny would like to invite all his LA fans. The gig will take place on Saturday, July 9 2006, at BB King's Blues Club, Universal City Walk, Universal City, CA 91608, and starts at around 5:00pm. Warfrog will be performing a 15-minute set. Ben Sherman Grand Opening 06.02.2006   Last night Jonathan was attending the Los Angeles Grand Store Opening for designer Ben Sherman. The store is only the second Ben Sherman store to open in the US. Jonny and his mom had a great evening checking out the new fashion lines available. Joe Francis' Birthday Celebration

Joe Francis closed off Six Flags Magic Mountain to the public yesterday, May 11, inviting around 300 celebrity friends for his 36th birthday, and of course, Jonathan was there. The party was in conjunction with the opening on new rollercoaster Tatsu, and had various life-sized cartoon characters wandering around, including Sylvester and Tweety who Jonathan is pictured with on the right. Jonathan has had a profile since around September 2005, initially just for friends but as fans have come across the page Jonathan has added them to his profile as well. Your proof of this is in the picture on the left, which was taken yesterday, May 2, and is temporarily Jonathan's default picture on his profile. Hospital

On the evening of Thursday, April 27, Jonathan was taken to hospital with unbearable stomach pains. Unfortunately he had to have appendectomy, meaning he had to have his appendix removed. The operation took place early Friday morning, and although it's a fairly standard procedure there were a few slight complications which meant Jonathan was in hospital until Saturday. Jonny is recovering well, the only problem being he cannot swim for a while.

Kids Day America 2006

On Saturday, May 20 2006, Kids Day America / International takes place in Kingwood, Texas. As the event's celebrity spokesperson, Jonathan represents the non-profit organization, the World Children's Wellness Foundation, however will unfortunately not be in attendance. The World Children's Wellness Foundation was started by Drs. Theresa and Stuart Warner (pictured right with Jonathan at last years event). The World Children's Wellness Foundation website says of Jonathan,

"His message to other kids is that they can feel great without drugs. Too many kids are being improperly dosed with prescriptions and dangerous medications, which sets the tone for unhealthy patterns that can continue into adulthood. Jonathan's positive influence on children's wellness has earned him awards as he continues to spread the message."

Jonny Bares His Bod! 04.12.2006   Jonathan lifts his shirt to reveal a toned tummy in recent pictures from the 7th Annual Paws For Style fashion show. The event took place on Monday April 10 at 7:45pm at The Avalon in Hollywood. Jonathan walked his dog Edgar along the 'dogwalk' as part of the celebrity pet fashion show. Hosted by Animal Fair Magazine, the evening was to benefit the Animal Medical Center, with tickets costing $100 for a single, and $5,000 for a seated table. We spoke to Jonathan about his body baring antics, for him to reply, "Hey, it was for charity! And I worked hard for my abs." We can also reveal that clothes modelled by various celebrities at the event, including the Lonsdale hat and shirt modelled by Jonny, will be auctioned on eBay in June to raise funds for another animal charity that is yet to be named.

In For The Long Run

Jonathan Lipnicki was barely 5 years old when he followed his older sister into an acting workshop. Big sis always came out looking happy, and Lipnicki figured he might enjoy it, too. He was right. Never mind what a kid could decide to be when he grew up; as an actor, Lipnicki quickly learned, you could pretend to be a policeman, a fireman, or an astronaut right now. The workshop led to auditions and to his first commercial for Kodak film.

Jonathan's sister Alexis recently got a new puppy called Lucy. Lucy is an adorable Boston Terrier, and brings the number of Lipnicki dogs to a total of four. Exclusive Thanx Mr. Home Video 02.06.2006   At the beginning of 2005 Jonathan was the drummer for a band called Thanx Mr. You can find out all about them on the Thanx Mr. page, where you can now download an EXCLUSIVE home video of the bands' performance at a school talent show! The Jetsons?

You may have noticed some strange rumours, appearing to originate from WTOPnews.com, about Jonathan having signed to play the character of Elroy in a live-action version of The Jetsons. These are very certainly just rumours, as this year Jonathan will be working on Knights Of Impossingworth Park and After School. Jonathan's mother, Rhonda, says she has no idea what started off the rumours, but they are definitely not true.

A Message From Jonathan

    When Zachary Beaver Came To Town is a novel I read when I was younger. It was a modern day Stand By Me, and I knew it should be made into a film. I gave the book to my mom and she agreed.
    We tried to get the rights to the book, but sadly we found that somebody had bought the material first, so we could not get them. I still wanted to make the film and my mom still believed in the story, so we found out who had the rights and when it was going to be made.
    Fast forward two years, and we get word the film is going to be made. Eager to not let go of this beautiful story, my mom helped me get a meeting with the director, John Schultz. Little did I know that meeting with John would lead to a friendship that I treasure and many adventures in filmmaking. Everyone involved with this film worked extremely hard and overcame many obstacles to produce a film that we are all proud of.
    After travelling around to different festivals, When Zachary Beaver Came To Town has landed on DVD. It is something different, I believe everyone can take something different from it. Many people have worked their asses off for this to be seen, so if you're thinking about staying in and seeing a movie, you won't regret seeing this one!

Happy New Year! 2006 looks to be a very eventful year for Jonathan. On Tuesday January 3, Jonathan's 2003 independent movie When Zachary Beaver Came To Town is being released on DVD across America. You can now pre-order your copy at Amazon.

Jonathan's second indie-movie, The LA Riot Spectacular, directed by Marc Klasfeld and starring Snoop Dogg, is scheduled to be released on DVD sometime in February. Jonathan also has two brand new projects that are taking place: After School is a documentary film that Jonathan is not only featuring in, but also co-producing. Click here for more information about that project, but expect to see it released around September time. Also, despite being pushed back from the initial start date, shooting for Knights Of Impossingworth Park should be happening fairly soon. Filming will take place in London, England and Vietnam. It may also interest you to know that Stuart Little 3: Call Of The Wild is to be released on DVD on February 21. This third Stuart Little movie is entirely animated, and therefore does not feature Jonathan or any of the other human cast, not even as voices.
