Jonathan Hasn't Quit

Through his personal
MySpace
page, Jonathan Lipnicki has hit back at rumours that he has quit acting and the
supposed reasons why. He states,
"I
never quit. I am looking for good roles. I don't want to do anything I will
regret. I am very picky in a good way, and just want to do my best. Recently I
haven't seen anything I have really wanted to do."
Jonathan then goes on to say,
"One thing I want
everyone to know is never to doubt me. I live to prove you wrong. I love being
the underdog, and I work hard and push myself hard and I always will. I have
worked for everything I have and I am proud of it but I am not satisfied."

Power Of Youth

Jonathan was in Universal City on
Saturday (October 6) for the 2007 Power of Youth charity afternoon. The event took place as
part of a non-profit initiative launched by
Variety to raise awareness of philanthropic causes. Jonathan and many
other young entertainers were at the event, and are currently taking part in an
online auction to gather funds for St. Jude Children's Hospital. For more

On
September 27 Jonathan was at the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts in
Beverly Hills, for the Declare Yourself event. The event was to mark the 2008
Primaries and Presidential Election. Jonathan spoke with a reporter from
Hollywood Uncensored, who said of Jonny, "He was more than happy to be
interviewed and we covered various topics, including what he has been up to, who
his role models are, which actresses he thinks are sexy, as well as his hobbies,
etc. For the record, his favorite actor is Edward Norton. He thinks Scarlett
Johansson and Hayden Panettiere are super hot (Hayden is a friend of his), his
hobbies include water polo and he loves ultimate fighting. He chatted about why
he loves ultimate fighting and his favorite guys. He is also very thankful to be
an actor and I wished him well."

E-Bride Postponed

Unfortunately, due to a problem with paperwork, Jonathan's movie
E-Bride has been put back by a year. Although
disappointed with the delay Jonathan remains positive, saying, "If it was meant
to happen, it would have. Whatever needs to happen will happen." Because of
this, the blog feature of JonathanLipnicki.com will not go ahead in the near
future.

Jonathan's Family Cruise

Jonathan recently returned from a week-long family cruise to Mexico. Jonny,

Water Polo Tour

Jonathan recently returned from Maui, Hawaii, where he spent a week on tour with
his water polo team. On July 16 the team flew out from LAX, and spent the week
going on boat cruises, snorkelling with turtles, and playing lots of water polo.
Jonathan's mom Rhonda was also in Hawaii as her cousin lives nearby, so managed
to catch some of the games. It was her birthday on July 22, the final day of the
trip, and she was lucky enough to get a rendition of Happy Birthday from the
entire water polo team!

Movie Re-titled E-Bride

Jonathan's new movie is set to start filming next month, and we are hoping to
get Jonny's first personal blog onto the site soon, so keep checking back. The
movie, previously titled
Confidential Connections, has now been renamed

Confidential Connections

JonathanLipnicki.com is very excited to be the first to reveal that Jonathan has
signed to star in a new movie called Confidential
Connections. The film is a romantic comedy about an internet
relationship between a Ukrainian bank-teller and an Asian-American slacker.
Jonathan plays the Ukranian bank-teller's younger brother Yura, and is currently
working with respected dialect coach Robert Easton, who is teaching Jonny to
speak with a Ukrainian accent. Mr. Easton has coached many Oscar-winning
performances in the past, including most recently Forest Whitaker in The Last
King Of Scotland. Shooting for
Confidential Connections is due to commence in
August in Los Angeles and the Ukraine.
Jonathan's mom kindly sent in the exclusive pictures above, taken in April,
of Jonathan and
Confidential Connections director Devorah
Cutler-Rubenstein with Mr. Easton, and Jonathan has offered to keep us all
up-to-date with the run up to shooting with a personal blog which will start

Welcome back to the brand new Jonathan Lipnicki website, complete with all the
old features plus much much more. Apologies for the down time, which
went on much longer than anticipated. The photo galleries are now exploding with
over 3,500 images, with still more to come! As you may have noticed,
on the left you can pick your favorite picture of Jonathan to view the site
in. Also, there is some very exciting movie news we can reveal very, very
soon, so keep checking back! In the next few days there will be brand new

Over 20 celebrities, including Morgan Freeman, Tony Hawk, Ivana Trump and
Jonathan Lipnicki, have decorated Briggs & Riley bags to be auctioned on
eBay
benefiting the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation. The auction runs June 14 - 25 at www.ebay.com/briggsriley, with a live preview of all the bags up for grabs
at the Grant Gallery in New York City on June 15 and 16. Jonathan has created a
"travel-themed piece of luggage" and has included a signed headshot and water

Davante Store Opening

Yesterday, June 7, Jonathan was in Beverly Hills for the opening of the new Davante
boutique store on Rodeo Drive. Jonny was spotted trying on the store's designer
sun glasses, and smiling for cameras while pointing to his Let's Play Doctor

Yesterday, January 24, Jonathan was at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to catch up with LA
Lakers coach Phil Jackson. The $500-per-ticket evening was to raise money for the
basketball team's Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps
