We first met the Littles on the big screen just over two years ago, when Stuart, the littlest of the Littles, joined the family. Now, with the release of their new adventure, Stuart Little 2, we thought it would be fun to ask Jonathan Lipnicki, who plays George Little, to interview his brother Stuart. We all met up at the soccer field around the corner, to talk about their new film.

JL: So, Stuart, we're going to be back in theatres with a brand new adventure.
SL: I'm excited. I can't wait for all my friends to see it!
JL: It's funny you should say that, because the movie is kind of about friendship, don’t you think?
SL: It sure is, and let me tell you, I learned a lot about the meaning of friendship making it.
JL: Like what?
SL: Well, for one thing, I got to get together with all my friends from the first film, like you, Geena Davis, Hugh Laurie, and director Rob Minkoff. It made me realize that keeping with your friends is important. Secondly, I got to make a few new friends, and you really have to see the movie to know what I mean. We even have new little sister! And last but not least, I learned that friendship matters the most in times of trouble, that you have to stick by your friends, offer them support and help them out of tough situations.
JL: You did all your own stunts in Stuart Little 2, didn't you?
SL: That's right. I usually have a stunt mouse, but the day after we sent him the script for Stuart Little 2, he called to say he was leaving for a trip around the world. And for a tiny little mouse, a trip around the world can take a long long time. I still get postcards from him.
JL: You think he was scared of the stunts?
SL: Well, I'll never know for sure, but there’s definitely a lot of action sequences in this film. I had to work with a trainer for two months before we started productions. We worked so hard at it that without even trying I lost four ounces! Which of course created all sorts of problems for the wardrobe department.
JL: I saw a preview of the film with a full audience the other day, and I must tell you that they loved the part where you were flying the plane. Talk about stunts!
SL: Oh, well, that - don't try it at home, kids - that took a little movie magic. I'm never quite as far off the ground as it looks in the film. But it was soooo much fun!
JL: What was it like to work with Snowbell again?
SL: Better and better. The better you get to know Snowbell, the more you love him. I don't care what the crew says about his temper. I don't care if he needed one hour of grooming before his scenes, he's a great guy. When he's been fed, he's a great guy.
JL: Tell us about Margalo and Falcon.
SL: I have truly found a great new friend in Margalo. I think everyone who sees the film will come to love her - talk about a great movie debut! Falcon is a scary-looking guy - and he chews tobacco, which is bad for you. Remember how he used to do one-winged push-ups on the set, between takes? But underneath the gruff exterior, he's very nice.
JL: Well, our time is up, thank you and good...
SL: Can I just say one last thing to all the people who are reading this interview?
JL: Sure, go ahead!
SL: Please go see Stuart Little 2! My popularity depends on you!
