Official Synopsis When Stuart
Little (Michael J. Fox), an adorable little mouse with a big heart, is
adopted by the Little family as a brother for their son George (Jonathan
Lipnicki), he finds he has a lot to adjust to in his new home. Whilst Mr.
and Mrs. Little (Hugh Laurie, Geena Davis) fall in love with Stuart right
away, George doesn't quite know what to make of his new brother. And

are soon afoot to get Stuart out of the Little house ... permanently!

Trivia
Various methods were used to make Jonathan laugh in the train scene.
The director, Rob Minkoff, called "My underwear's missing!" but Jonathan
just smiled. Then a buzzer sounded as the train passed, which Jonathan
found so funny he couldn't stop laughing to say his lines. In the end
Minkoff tickled Jonathan to make him laugh!
Because Stuart the mouse was computer generated the actors had to
imagine he was there. To get their eye line right, the crew would point
a laser dot at the place where the actors should be looking. They also
used dolls.
The part of George in Stuart Little was written for someone much older
than Jonathan, but the casting directors were so amazed with Jonathan's
acting talents they had the part re-written just for him.
After learning that the Stuart Little producer's daughter suffered from
Juvenile Diabetes Jonathan donated a tuxedo to the Hollywood Garage Sale
to help raise money. "We saw how much kids were getting diagnosed with
it every year, and how sad it was," Lipnicki said. "I feel great helping
out." Jonathan is still hugely involved with fundraising for the
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. |
