At the beginning of 2005 Jonathan was the drummer for a band called Thanx Mr. Unfortunately a few of the members were changing schools so the group split up after only a few months. Jonathan later joined a band called Warfrog, though left due to work and water polo commitments. Jonathan continues to practise drums (his personal set being Oyster blue), however his schedule allows him little time to dedicate to music.
