THE TEACHER FROM THE BLACK LAGOON (2003)

The Teacher From The Black Lagoon, written by Mike Thaler and
illustrated by Jared Lee, was turned into a short animated film for the
20th Annual Chicago International Children's Film Festival. In the short
film, which only lasts nine minutes, Jonathan Lipnicki "narrates to
perfection" the young student facing a terrifying teacher. Diana Canova
provides the voice of Mrs. Green, who scratches her name on the
blackboard with claws, and teaches fractions by dividing a student in
half. Despite the length of the film, it proved very successful and is
available to purchase on DVD through
Amazon.
